We’re building this to help Florida homeowners — inspection requests aren’t open yet, but we’re working on it.

FOR OUR FLORIDA NEIGHBORS

A little help.
A place to
keep calling home.

An insurance inspection shouldn’t be the thing standing between you and protecting your home.

We’re building a program to provide free 4-Point and Wind Mitigation inspections for Florida homeowners who need a helping hand.

A PRACTICAL KIND OF HELP

Two inspections.
One less financial barrier.

When money is tight, even one more expense can be too much. We’re focused on the two inspections homeowners often need most to get or keep their coverage.

01 / UNDERSTANDING YOUR HOME

4-Point inspection

A close look at your roof, electrical, plumbing, and heating and cooling systems — the report your insurance company needs to see.

02 / DOCUMENTING PROTECTIVE FEATURES

Wind Mitigation inspection

Documents the features that help a home stand up to wind, which can make a homeowner eligible for insurance premium discounts.

Your insurer makes the final call on which credits apply and what you might save.

EXPERIENCE WITH A PURPOSE

Good neighbors.
Qualified inspectors.

This starts with people who know homes—and care about the people living in them.

We’re an independent Florida nonprofit, powered by a network of licensed Florida home inspectors giving their time, with software and technology provided by Inspector Network LLC. Our goal is simple: make sure an insurance inspection is never the reason a neighbor loses their coverage.

The story behind the initiative

WHAT WE’RE WORKING TOWARD

A clear path to a helping hand.

We’re still putting the pieces together. Here’s how we want it to work once we open the doors.

  1. 01

    Check the guidelines

Take a look at the eligibility criteria and service areas once we publish them.

  2. 02

    Connect with an inspector

If you qualify, we’ll do our best to connect you with a volunteer inspector near you.

  3. 03

    Get your inspection

Your inspector completes the inspection and hands you a report ready for your insurer.

We’re not able to take requests just yet.

We’re working on it. Eligibility details, service areas, and next steps will be posted right here.
